I can see a lot of pyros camping on top of door frames with the backburner if this comes in to the main tf2.

Odd that they add this to a flaregun, why not airblast jump that makes a lot more sense to me.
Oh, btw, the class that is OP is demoman with its less damage to fire, rocketblasts, and shotgun and can outrun a scout.

At least they have to lose the weapon that makes predominately them overpowered to gain that. Pyro loses nothing here, barring a tiny weakness to something it has a counter for

You do know that properly 70% of these buffs will never see the light of day right? I think they just threw in a whole mess of tweaks to see the communities reaction.

It seems that people really do like the idea of the pyro having more mobility (which is funny because I doubt they suspected flare jumps to come out of this new weapon). Still not as good as a soldiers/scout/demoman mobility in sense of effiecientnes, control and consistantcy but it was pretty painful how difficult it was getting places as pyro.

Yes, despite every single explosive weapon they have ever made being used for some form of jumping, they could NEVER have seen this coming.

Yeh because mobility is all about plain running speed right :B

and thats not even fully correct. It's tied 3rd with 3 other classes not counting the demoman's 98% running speed.
