I posted on the i42 forum about a PCW and general TF2 help for beginners and Blackbob told me to post here. We have just got a server up and running and are going to have a look at the maps we have no idea about. So will be up for a PCW in a week or two prehaps?

Hey dude, you wont be playing us I was planning on setting you up with Boxxys team, they play on our pub server and have no proper match exsperience either so you will be a perfect match.

But ile happily watch the match and give some contructive feedback to both sides

And theres plenty of time to improve before the next lan

do i get to watch their demoman?

Through a series of devilish Google searches I've managed to find your thread on the Multiplay Forum. Since you've done COD4. I reckon your basics for TF2 are pretty much set up, and as you already play in a pub server I don't know how your skill level compares to ours.

Conitinue to hang around on the Crazy server - its got some great gameplay, is realy relaxed, and only Kovah bites.

If you're looking fo a bit more competetive pub server to base yours on have a look at Ubercharged; http://www.ubercharged.net/tf2-server/
(the UC2 server, not UC1; ugh americans )

I'm also not sure weather to suggest you look at TF2 highlander; its considered a lower level form of comp play, but because of that its a bit more forgiving and you'll start to get a good idea of certain tactics/strategies. But i42 will be 6v6 and so getting you confused like that might not be a good idea .

Sorry jormy we dont have a match server any more as far as I know, it wasnt worth it since all the traitors *cough*bob*cough*beach*cough*havit*cough* went elsewhere to play matches. So Crazy are more pubbers now

Also if you are looking for match experience get yourselves on the multiplay pickups
